The workshop included excellent quality tutoring followed by 2-days pitching session that took place in Satyajit Ray Film and Television institute, Kolkata from 9th to 14th January 2007. This kind of workshop is unique of its kind where experts and professionals had brainstormed together for fleshing up ideas for possible realization into films.

Quite a significant number of projects from docedge '07 received financial support subsequently.
The programme also included screening of international documentaries with lively debates and channel fund presentations including the ITVS International call.
