Leena
Pasanen has studied Finnish
language and literature
at the Oulu University.
After several years as a
journalist and a political
commentator on Finnish News
Agency, she has been working
for YLE since 1993 first
as a reporter and then as
a sub-editor and presenter
for a current affairs magazine
programme and later as the
head of in-house documentaries
on YLE
TV1. She had also been
the Head of Programmes for YLE
Teema, the first Finnish channel
to be exclusively dedicated to
culture, science and education.
Presently she is the Director, European Documentary Network (EDN).
Stefano Tealdi
Producer/Teacher, Italy
Stefano
studied Architecture in Turin,
Italy. He is responsible for film
and TV production in the Architecture
audio-visual laboratory of the
POLITECNICO DI TORINO as Head
of Production. In 1985 he had
created, with others, STEFILM
as a director and producer. Today
STEFILM produces high quality
films for television and cinema
and is committed to create documentary
programming that
brings Italian themes and talent to
the rest of the world. The aim is to
re-establish a thriving documentary
culture in Italy.
