The Asian Pitch (TAP) is a three-year-old collaboration between NHK and MediaCorp to find original stories about Asia and nurture new Asian talent. It's a new wave of story–telling of Asian issues and concerns presenting Asian viewpoints, production styles and values to the international market. MediaCorp’s Ong Hee-Yah will show some of the past winners to explain how TAP works and what TAP is looking for.

One of the winning proposals from the first TAP was “Superman of Malegaon” by Faiza Ahmad Khan. Although a first-time director, of course first-timer with HD as well, her award-winning film sold to many countries. Ong Hee-Yah will invite Faiza up to the stage to ask her about her experience in working with TAP and with HD.
